The next generation of ADSL Broadband, Extreme® ADSL2+ services are capable
of download speeds of up to an incredible 24 Megabits per second. All
the benefits of ADSL - but even faster, and with very competitive
prices.
In addition, our SOHO, Business and IBC Extreme® ADSL2+ services support ADSL2+ Annex M (the first Annex M services to be launched in Australia and among the first in the world). Annex M can raise your upload speeds to a massive 2 Megabits per second or higher (depending on line conditions).
And we've just announced free setup on all Business Extreme ADSL2+ services on a 24 month contract - it's time to get fast business broadband with Internode!
Please click on the orange
symbol in the text following the pricing tables for additional plan and service information.
Service options and charges
This option offers you a $0 setup fee with a 24 month contract term. It applies no matter which method you use to establish your Internode Extreme ADSL2+ service.
If you cancel your service during the initial 24 month period, you are liable for a fixed $199 early cancellation charge. Full details on the 24 month contract are available here.
Please refer to the Transfer page under Extreme ADSL2+ for more information on establishing your Internode ADSL service; and call us 13 6633 if you need any assistance.
The alternative is to pay a setup fee and have no long term commitment. The setup fee depends on the method you use to establish your Internode Extreme ADSL2+ service:
- $49 to single service migrate a suitable Internode ADSL Standard or ADSL Plus service to Extreme ADSL2+;
- $129 to single service transfer a suitable ADSL service from another ISP to Extreme ADSL2+; or to establish a new Extreme ADSL2+ service on a suitable active telephone line.
There's no early cancellation charge with this option - your only commitment is the 'one month rolling contract' that is inherent in paying one month's rental in advance on your service.
Please refer to the Transfer page under Extreme ADSL2+ for more information on establishing your Internode ADSL service; or call us 13 6633 if you need any assistance.
If you move to a new house or office location, you have a choice of contractual arrangements:
- you can choose to have this done at no charge, in which case you enter a new 24 month contract term on the service at your new premises; or
- you can pay $99 for the relocation, and your existing contract term (if any) is carried across to the service at your new premises - ie it is not restarted.
Providing the relocation is successful, no early cancellation charge will apply to your previous service. You can even change Internode ADSL service type when you move - for example change from ADSL Standard at your old place, to NakedExtreme ADSL2+ at your new place - for no extra charge.
There is no charge for changing your monthly download quota within the same speed - for example from a 25 Gbyte plan to a 50 Gbyte plan.
- Also please note that any changes requested will take effect at the start of next billing period.
- There is also no charge to change your plan type - for example, from Business ADSL to SOHO ADSL - within the same speed, and once again this will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
These changes can be requested at any time via our online planchanger, and are available regardless of whether you are within a contract term or not.
On all Internode Business ADSL plans, an excess usage charge of $5 per Gbyte (calculated as 0.5 cents per Mbyte) applies to downloads beyond the monthly inclusion.
- No charge applies to uploads on Business ADSL plans.
A monthly charge of $20 applies for an additional 6 IP addresses (via a /29 framed route) on an Internode Business ADSL service.
We recommend using a Cisco 877 series ADSL router at your site to implement this feature.
GST
All quoted pricing includes GST.

ADSL Account Application Notes
When you apply for Business Extreme® ADSL2+, you should be aware of certain obligations and conditions once the order form is received by Internode.
Please be aware that when you sign the application form you are
signing to say that you accept and agree to be bound by the Internode Standard
Form of Agreement, ADSL Service Specifications and Business ADSL Service Schedule - these documents are available here. Please call us if you would like any help interpreting these documents.

thereafter, at which time Internode will commence billing.
The Internode ADSL Contract
When you signup for Internode ADSL, you can either:
- have no setup fee, and a $199 early cancellation charge if you cancel within the first 24 months; or
- pay the setup fee, and have a rolling one month contract with no early cancellation charges.
Full details on the 24 month contract option are available here.
Automatic ADSL Service Cancellations
Please be aware that your Internode Extreme® ADSL2+ service
will be automatically cancelled by Telstra and a new Extreme® ADSL2+ service will
need to be ordered by you (including a new $129 Activation fee) in the
following circumstances:
- If your telephone account is cancelled.
- If you order an ADSL-incompatible product on the telephone line the ADSL is delivered on.
We strongly advise that you contact our Sales department to discuss
any pending changes to your phone service prior to making those
changes.
ADSL Relocations
If you plan to move premises - even if you are taking the same number with you -
you'll need to use our online relocation process. This ensures a smooth transition, and gives you the choice of:
- no ADSL relocation fee, and a new 24 month contract; or
- a $99 relocation fee, with any existing contract term carried across to your new premises.
Further details on ADSL relocations are available here.
Billing & Notifications
Tax invoices, Internode Bulletins and automated data usage warning
messages are sent to your Internode email address. Please refer to the
configuration sheet (supplied when your service is activated) for
details of your Internode email address. You can automatically forward
these emails to a preferred email account if required, via our online
Email Management system.
Please note that the first monthly service charge, plus activation fee and hardware charges, must be paid in full before Internode can activate the service.
Posting of paper invoices is
available but discouraged for environmental reasons, and if requested
will attract a $1.50 surcharge per invoice. Surcharges also apply to payments made by credit card - full details on this and our other payment options are available here.
The maximum possible speed of an Extreme® ADSL2+ service will depend on
a number of factors. These include the length and quality of the phone line that links your premises to your local telephone exchange, and the
type of ADSL modem or router that you are using.
A description of these factors is available on this page,
as well as a graph that provides an indication of theoretical maximum
speed at various line lengths.
The ADSL modem or router that you use on a Business Extreme® ADSL2+ service will affect the maximum possible speed as follows:
- ADSL2+ Annex M Modem/Router - 24000/2500 kbps
- ADSL2+ Annex A Modem/Router - 24000/1000 kbps
- ADSL2 Modem/Router - 12000/1000 kbps
- ADSL1 Modem/Router - 8000/1000 kbps (many older ADSL modems and routers are ADSL1 only)
All routers sold by Internode are ADSL2+ Annex M capable - further details are available here.
The minimum speed of an Extreme® ADSL2+ service is 1500/256 kbps. Internode does not guarantee that customers who select the Business Extreme®
ADSL2+ plans will be able to obtain the maximum theoretical speed of 24000/2500 kbps.
